NYĀ METAL DESIGN（ニャーメタルデザイン）は、
保護猫支援を目的としたチャリティーグッズ販売プロジェクトです。

企画者のCocoは、メタルバンドのボーカリストとして音楽活動を行う傍ら、現在は保護猫3匹と暮らしています。

これまでの人生の中で、あらゆる場面で猫たちに救われてきました。
猫たちと共に暮らす日々の中で、保護猫という存在や、その背景にある現実について考える機会も増えていきました。

音楽活動を通して出会ったバンドマンやお客様との交流の中でも、
音楽シーンには猫をはじめとした動物を愛する方が多くいらっしゃることを、あらためて実感しています。

一方で、猫好きとして日常を過ごす中で、
「猫モチーフのアイテムは可愛いものが多いけれど、
もう少し日常的に、カッコよく猫を身に纏える選択肢があってもいいのではないか」
そんな思いを抱くようになりました。

無いのであれば、自分で作ってみよう。
その発想が、NYĀ METAL DESIGNの原点です。

せっかく作るのであれば、同じ想いを持つ方にも手に取っていただけるものにしたい。
そして、商品を通して得た売り上げの一部を、保護猫支援という形で猫たちに還元したい。
大きな事業でなくても、多くの人が「保護猫支援」を意識するきっかけになれば――
そうした考えから、NYĀ METAL DESIGNはブランドではなく、プロジェクトとして活動しています。

売上の一部は、保護猫活動への寄付に充てられます。
このプロジェクトが、支援・認知・共感が循環していく小さなきっかけとなり、
猫たちの未来につながっていくことを願っています。

なお、NYĀ METAL DESIGNという名前は、
企画者が愛するヘヴィミュージックのジャンルである
Nu Metal（ニューメタル） から着想を得て名付けられました。

グッズのデザインは、Nu Metalのバンドを思わせる
グランジ、ミリタリー、ストリート、少しダークなポップ――
そんな要素を軸に展開しています。

NYĀ METAL DESIGN is a charity goods project dedicated to supporting rescued cats.

The project is run by Coco, a metal band vocalist who currently lives with three rescued cats.

Throughout life, cats have been a source of comfort and strength.
Living alongside rescued cats naturally led to a deeper awareness of their stories—and of the realities surrounding animal rescue.

Through music activities and connections with fellow musicians and audiences, it has become clear that the music scene is filled with people who care deeply about animals, including cats.

At the same time, as a cat lover, one question kept coming up:
Many cat-themed items are cute—but what about something more everyday, more wearable, and a little cooler?
Something that lets you carry your love for cats without losing your own style.

If it doesn’t exist, why not create it?
That simple thought became the starting point of NYĀ METAL DESIGN.

If these items are going to be made, they should reach people who share the same values.
And if money is exchanged, part of that value should be returned—to the cats who inspired it all.
NYĀ METAL DESIGN is intentionally defined not as a brand, but as a project, with the aim of creating a sustainable cycle of awareness, support, and action for rescued cats.

A portion of all sales is donated to organizations supporting rescued cats.
It is our hope that this project becomes a small but meaningful step toward a better future for them.

The name NYĀ METAL DESIGN is inspired by Nu Metal, a genre of heavy music deeply loved by the project’s creator.
The designs reflect that influence, drawing from grunge, military, street culture, and slightly dark pop aesthetics.
